解题思路：
A ：like 不能表示举例，只能表示比较，此处应该用such as ； cultivating ，the harvesting， exploiting 不平行
B：Correct；harvest做名词时有三个意思：收获、产量、成果，harvesting仅有收获的意思，从OG12的解释中看来，GMAT并没有区分harvest与harvesting，两者都可。
C：LIKE 改为 as； and basing it应该出现在主语动词之前，和Building on civilizations并列；后面the cultivation ，harvesting fish and seafood，the exploiting of 不平行。
D：后面不平行，exploiting破坏了平行；没有必要新开一个分句，显得很累赘。
E LIKE 改为 as，such…as 用于举例说明 ； they exploited 想跟they based平行，那harvest前要加and ! based it on “their cultivating”表达拙劣(介词+one’s doing往往是很拙劣的表达)
