那么通过阅读上述段落，我们可以知道其主要观点是：为减少成本开支而向环境中释放有害化学物质最终会增加化学品生产商的其他成本开支。那么与主要观点不同的是下面列有两个推论并且此两个推论都依赖于某些假设，或是依赖于作者在段落中的某些观点：
推论1：These manufacturers will eventually discontinue emitting harmful chemicals into the environment,
推论2：These manufacturers will not save money by emitting harmful chemicals into the envionment.
到此，我们知道如若不能对段落以内的观点及信息理解透彻，那么我们就无法对结论作出正确评价，更无法对整个段落的推理过程进行深刻的认识和把握。
