副词
1. to the same degree or amount: The child sang as sweetly as a nightingale.第二个是连接词]这孩子歌唱得同夜莺般婉转。[as ... as 结构中的第一个as为指示副词;第二个是连接词]
2. for instance：large carnivores, as the bear or lion.大的食肉动物，如熊或狮子
3. When considered in a specified form or relation, usually used before a preposition or a participle ：this definition as distinguished from the second one.这个定义与第二个有区别

代词
1. That; which; who. Used after same or such: I received the same grade as you did.我和你得分一样
2.正如，照:as you know正如你知道的;
就…而言:He's quite good, as boys go.就男孩儿而言，他相当不错了。
连词
1. At the same time that; while: You will grow wiser As you grow older.随着你年令的增长, 你会变得更聪明。注意：从句动作先于主句动作之前，只能用when引导从句，不能用as。
2. To the same degree or quantity that. Often used as a correlative after so or as: You are as sweet as sugar. The situation is not so bad as you suggest.你甜如蜜。情形不如你说的那样糟。
