I think a good friend is always someone who trusts me and can be trusted. And we should show sincerityin this friendship and be always loyal to each other.
Life is full of ups and downs, and when I'm down, he or she is always there to give me a hand. Because a true friend should share both joys and norrows.
But most importantly, good friends always respect the privacy of each other. It’s true that he or she is closer to me than others. But still, we are two different ones. There's a famous Chinese saying, “Familiarity breeds contempt.” (熟来生厌)
