To elderly people, painting is a great way to kill time, release their stress and cultivate their temperament. 5. Why do parents always want their kids to learn how to draw?
为什么父母总是希望自己的孩子去学习绘画?(社会现状)对于中国考生来说还是比较好回答的，这是中国家长的通病也是常见的社会现象。父母想要发展孩子的潜能培养他们的兴趣，其实很多时候他们已经剥夺了还在选择的权利和追求自由的权利……结合现状进行回答即可。

Well, I guess it is a very common phenomenon in China. All parents want their kids to stand out and they think it is their job to find out what their kids’ potentials and interests are. On this point, they mistakenly believe that the more versatile their kids are, the brighter the future their kids might have. Arid if parents don't do this, they will feel they are less competent.
6. Why do you think people love to hang paintings on the walls of their flats?
为什么人们喜欢在家里的墙上挂上这些画呢?(细节问题，这里可以看出paintings和drawing其实是一体的)挂在墙上有时候是一种装饰，有时候是个人爱好，也会显示一个人的艺术品位……

Paintings liven up the rooms and show the good taste that the owners have in art. They can also weave their magic to put people in a good mood. And of course, besides the art value, paintings might be of irreplaceable sentimental value to the owners.

Well, there are so many places that people can get them, like auction houses, pawn shops, second-hand markets, flea markets and some antique stores. The truth is that priceless things are everywhere. People just need to find them. Insiders always have a good eye for those valuable things.
