Describe a law about the environment you would like to see in the future.

  You should say:

What this law would be about这部法律将会是怎么样的

How this law will take effect

Why it is important to have this law

And explain what changes will happen because of this law

Ok right then, well after racking my brains for a bit just now, I think the environmental law I would like to see implemented in the future some time would be that every building must be fitted with solar panels, because I think if this was done, then it would reduce our reliance on non-renewable energy, thereby benefitting the environment. What this law would be about这部法律将会是怎么样的must be fitted with solar panels关于节能问题的法律,能够减少人们对非再生能源的依赖。

And I admit this idea might seem a little outlandish at present, but in the not-too-distant future, I think it will be quite feasible. In fact, if I’m not mistaken, many homes around the world are already being fitted with solar panels. So I think it would be a huge step in the right direction for this to be made into a law. How this law will take effect这个想法听起来和奇怪,但是在不远的将来相信将会很实用的。

And one of the biggest consequences would be that considerably less fossil fuels will be used for power generation, which will have a very positive impact on the environment, as I’m sure you’d agree, because I mean, solar power is a far cleaner way of generating electricity than using fossil fuels. And whether we like it or not, fossil fuels are gonna soon run out, so it’s in all of our interests that we start promoting the use of solar power on a much wider scale, which this law would do. Why it is important to have this law;因为这部法律将会发生怎么样的改变And explain what changes will happen because of this law。

So yeah, that’s pretty much it. Thanks for listening!

  racking my brains - 绞尽脑汁

implement – put into effect, 实施

  Solar panels -

  Outlandish -

  Feasible - 可行的

A step in the right direction -

it’s in all of our interests - 这符合我们每个人的利益
