在SAT写作中，还有一种题目我把它称为物极必反，是因为这类题目通常带有“too much”这样的标志词，例如Do people put too muchtrust in the guidance of experts and authorities?(2015-3真题)，这个题目表面上是在问“是不是人们过多的信任专家和权威的指导?”实际上是在借助“too much”这个词来表达一种消极的观点，即：“too much”是表达“不应该这么多”的观点，所以这个题目要表达的意思是：“人们是否不应该信任专家和权威的指导?”
在我们的论证过程中，也可以沿用这种物极必反的说法，如果觉得应该信任，就可以表达为“people do not put too much trust in the guidance of experts andauthorities.” 相反，如果觉得不应该信任，就可以表达为“people
do put toomuch trust in the guidance of experts and authorities.”为了方便大家理解，我再举几个类似的真题。

虽然以上这类题目表达比较绕，但是只要我们能通过“toomuch”这个标志词在审题的时候有效识别这类题目，就会在思路上比较顺畅。
