“精”还指精细，分析性写作的目的不只是“概括”文章内容(summarizing)，而更侧重于探讨作者写作的方式和意图及其同文章主旨目的的相关性。因此，我们需要就刚才所提到的“well-chosen points”展开，细致地分析“how the author develops an argument that is persuasive and powerful”, 分析“whateffect this is likely to have on readers” (OG 178页)。
