College admission test scores (ACT or SAT) are used as an additional indicator of the student's ability to meet the academic rigors of Saint Louis University and are used as qualifiers for certain University scholarship programs.

2016年SAT考试改革说明-2016 SAT Redesign

Applicants for any 2016 term: We will use scores from the current test.

Late applicants: You are welcome to take the new test but the scores will not be received by Saint Louis University until May 2016. Please note that our priority deadline is Dec. 1, 2015.
考生可以参加新SAT考试，但是圣路易斯大学从2016年5月开始，才会接收新SAT考试成绩。
Applicants for 2017 or beyond should take the new test, but can also submit scores from the pre-2016 version, knowing that Saint Louis University will use scores from either one in a way that ensures equity. With extensive information from the College Board regarding "concordances" (how scores from one version translate into the other one), we will ensure that neither score is advantaged over the other, even if the numeric scores are slightly different.
2017年及以后的申请人则可以提交新SAT考试成绩，也可以提交改革前的SAT考试成绩。校方会平等看待两种考试成绩，新旧SAT考试采取不同的评分标准，但是没有优劣之分。

三.英语能力要求 English Proficiency Requirements
All international applicants are required to demonstrate their English proficiency, which can be done by submitting any one of the following:
550 on the paper-based TOEFL (PBT)
80 on the internet-based TOEFL (IBT)
6.5 on the IELTS
54 on the PTE
600 on the Critical reading portion of the SAT
25 on the English portion of the ACT
successful completion of a college-level English class at a U.S. college or university (not an ESL class)
