If 4 less than 3 times a certain number is 2 more than the number,what is the number?
这是SAT OG官方指南上的一道数学题，题目很简单，但是不懂题目就麻烦啦。跃跃给解释一下，大家看对不对哈。一个数的3倍减去4等于这个数加2，上等式：3x-4=x+2，x=3。这种less than/more than的题读起来总是很绕嘴，大家要学会断句，才好应对。

这里面有一个很重要的词product，在这里不是产品的意思，是乘积的意思。product of -2 and the preceding term：-2和前一个数的乘积，现在来解题，某个数列第一个数1，其后的每个数的值是前一个数和-2的积，如下：1,1*(-2),1*(-2)*(-2)…，问该数列的第六个数是多少，1*(-2)^5=-32
