Although quite a few people maintain that children are too young to be ready for undertaking the pressure from the competition, to my point of view，the benefits of participating in competitive activities definitely outweigh its drawbacks. Of the countless reason and examples, I will present the most essential and conspicuous ones here.
First and foremost, competitive spirit is desperately demanded in the contemporary society. To state it more clearly， are competing with different rivals in a variety of fields almost every day . Consequently，it is necessarily essential for young children to take part in competitive sports activities and enhance the sense of competition. Children are competing with others in some sports activities, they not only need to try their efforts but also have to rely on the corporation with their team partners. As we all know，however strengthened we are，success cannot be gained without others’ help. Therefore，it's a wise choice for children to exercise themselves and coordinate with others to participate in sports.
Finally，taking competitive sports strengthens children's ability to adapt to the competitive world. To put it in another way, most children are living between schools and homes in a regular way, lacking enough chances to practice how to win themselves a better position in the society full of competition. According to this case, sports play an indispensable role to develop their competitiveness.
In conclusion，children should always be encouraged to attend competitive sports，for it has a profound effect on their future life.
