Task1： Describe your strategy on how to complete an assignment.
Task 2: Which one do you prefer, outdoor activities or indoor activities, and why?
Task 3: Topic: A student wrote a letter to the school, suggesting that the old furniture in the library should be replaced by new and comfortable items so that the pleasant environment will attract more students to the library. The girl disagrees with the suggestion, arguing that students will feel too comfortable and relaxed to learn. They might easily fall asleep. Besides, the reason why students do not like to go to the library is not due to the furniture, but the lack of sockets with which the students could use their laptops. 有学生写了封信要求学校在图书馆购置新家具，因为可以让学生觉得舒服并且能吸引更多的学生去图书馆。女生反驳这一观点。给出的原因一个是太舒服的环境学生容易犯困，而且她本人觉得坐在柔软的沙发上容易累。二是学生会去图书馆是因为图书馆没有充足的电源插座可桌子配合笔记本电脑使用，跟家具没什么关系。
Task 4：Topic：Frustration Tolerance: Sometimes，children will feel frustrated and thus be ill-mannered when they can’ t achieve what they want. The professor takes his three-year-old son as an example. When the child first attempted to build a tower, the wooden blocks constantly fell off. At first, he could only throw the building blocks away and cried. The professor helped him build the tower. Next time, when the block fell off, the child went directly to his father and asked for help. This time, instead of helping his son immediately, the professor waited for a few minutes. And this went for several times. At last, he found his son had learnt how to solve a problem on his own. This proved that children could develop their frustration tolerance. 当孩子们达不到目标时，他们会感到受挫折并做出些不好的行为。教授以自己三四岁大的儿子为例，当他尝试用他父亲送的积木堆高塔的时候，积木总是会掉下来。刚开始他会生气地把积木仍到一边去并且哭闹。教授看到就过去帮他堆好；当下一次儿子再失败时他不再哭闹而是找父亲寻求帮助，教授这次并不是马上去帮他而是等几分钟；依次反复几次，教授发现儿子学会自己解决问题证明小孩能够忍受挫折。
Task 5:
The girl’s parents are coming to attend her graduation ceremony. But there is no accommodation for them, for the hotels near the school are all full of guests. One solution is that they sleep in the dorm with their daughter, but the daughter will have to sleep on the sofa. Or, they can go to a hotel far from the school which is twenty minutes’ drive from school. 女孩的父母要来参加她的毕业典礼，但是找不到合适的地方住。 因为学校周边的酒店都满员了。方案一，和女孩一起住学校，但是女儿得睡沙发。方案二，找个离学校较远的酒店住，不过得要20分钟的车程。
Task 6:
Topic：Birds will make preparations for their migration. For example, they will eat as much as possible so as to accumulate fat for their long journey. In addition, individual birds will gather together and form flocks to protect themselves from the predators. 说鸟类会在迁徙前做准备:它们会多吃食物，积累长距离飞行所需的脂肪；二是会改变行为方式，本来独居的鸟类会聚集起来以共同抵御天敌的攻击。
