　　What can we do to solve air pollution problems?

　　Sample: The first thing that I can think of to solve air pollution is to plant trees. Because now the industry has been well developed so it is inevitable for the city to face large amounts of emissions of waste gas. As we all know, trees can act like a machine to purify air by absorbing useless gas and releasing oxygen. Since we can’t stop industrial development, planting trees will help a lot to reduce the pollution problem. The second way is to encourage people to ride bikes or take walk instead of driving cars. Because the cars can release tail gas which is also a negative impact on the environment. If people have the awareness of changing their traffic modes, I’m sure it will work.

　　解析：此题为环保类话题，空气污染是环境污染重最重要的一个话题。最常用思路为种树，这边需要学生素材积累：种树能净化空气的原理。除此以外，骑自行车也是同学很熟悉的保护环境的方法，不难想到。

　　Which kind of roommate do you prefer: a roommate from a foreign country or a roommate from your own country?

　　Sample: I prefer roommate from a foreign country. First, the roommate with different cultural background may provide distinct perspectives of thinking of questions. Because we grew in disparate environment with different education pattern, she may give me some constructive advices that I haven’t thought of when I get into trouble. Second, the life cane more interesting with the roommate from another area. We can share our own life experience and cook meals with local food for each other. Also, I will know more about the culture of her hometown. With more knowledge about diverse histories and customs, I’m able to build a more comprehensive worldview as wells respect others well.

　　写信要求学校把一次性借书数量降低到10本

　　1. 可以减少借书丢失

　　2. 学生也看不了这么多书

　　女生反对，因为她一次research要看20读本书，而且她每次都会还书

　　Alarm signals，讲group生活的animal会用这个来warn危险来临带来2个用处：放哨以及减少食物竞争。

　　1) 猴子move in group and share food together，看到豹子就大叫，然后大家跑路

　　女孩父母来看她，她想打扫房间但是有chemical study group，化学很难，study group很有帮助。

　　Product packaging redesigned for 2 reasons

　　1)new technology makes new materials available

　　egg：牛奶玻璃瓶expensive fragile被塑料取代

　　2)more competitive

　　egg： soft drink的公司生产potable and small package，所以原来牛奶公司一开始很大的牛奶瓶没有了，方便客人开车走路的时候可以喝
