  TASK1:你的一个朋友想在周末放松放松,你给他什么建议。

  范文:

If my friend were to spend a weekend strolling the woods, I would recommend that he brings a friend. Going to the woods alone, can be boring, and having someone to keep my friend company would make the trip more exciting. Personally, I would bring a classmate or my pet dog. If my friend does’ t have a dog, I could lend him mine. A dog can also a good conversation starter. I bet many people will ask about the dog, if he were together with my friend. Another thing I would suggest to my friend, is to just enjoy the outdoors. Usually, there will be a stunning scenery, and he can breathe in some fresh air outdoors. Maybe take a picture or two, and upload it onto his Face book page.

  TASK2:艺术家靠天分还是靠努力工作。

  范文:

I reckon most artists are born talented. Some artists can get pretty good after going through training and practice, but they' II never be as good as someone who has god given talents. For example, Beethoven was able to play the piano at the age of 5 and wrote his first symphony at the age of 21, dedicated to a Baron in Austria. From personal experience, I have had many years of piano lessons, but I don’t think r II ever be as good as Beethoven. Even after the age of 21, hard work has paid off. But I would call myself a mediocre pianist at best. I think everyone has talents elsewhere though. For example, I am a talented cook.

  TASK3范文:

The university plans on offering students a place to purchase pharmaceuticals. The man thinks it’s a great idea. Previously, whenever he experienced migraines or headaches, he would have nowhere to go to buy drugs. So this made it troublesome for him. Now though, with this new vendor available, he can go and buy medicine whenever he wants. Secondly, the school has announced that they will be doing interviews or surveys to ask how the students feel. The man' s going to announce that it' s a swell idea.

  TASK4范文:

The lecture talks about nectar corridor which is when migrating bats or insects move along paths of plant communities in a time of bloom. The bats or insects will follow a path, and when they run out of energy, give personal examples of past experiences. bats or insects will follow a path, and when they run out of energy,

They’ll need to replenish themselves by interacting with the plants. Bats or insects fly around their favorite plants, such as thistles or just random flowers, and feed on the nectar. In doing so, this will replenish their lost energy, while also pollinating the plants. They do this by having a slurry of liquid pollen and nectar stick to them, when they land on the various plants. When they bring this to neighboring plants, it will fertilize them. Thus, balancing the natural habitat ,of plant colonies.

  TASK5范文:

The man got a problem, there is a time conflict in his schedule and he doesn' t know what he should do. Basically, he’s dad’s 50th birthday is coming up but he also has to work on a project with his study group. In the conversation, they discuss two possible solutions to the problem. First is to speak with his dad, and decline going to the birthday party. Second, is to turn down his friends. In my opinion, I think he should speak with his friends and cancel plans for the study group. He mentioned that he has been to the study group before, and should already have some work done for the project. It shouldn' t be that difficult to stay up a little later at night, and work some more on the project. If he turns down his dad, I’m worried that his dad may feel upset.

  TASK6范文:

The lecture is about photography and the influence it has had on the 19th and 20th century. Early on in the 19th century, cameras had only a few distinct technologies, and at that time, these technologies formed the basis of photography and the camera system. Basically, people in this era were the pioneers of photography, and they mainly focused on natural things, like the farm and how the farmers worked. However, later on in the 20th century, photography was made more fashionable. So, they decided that pictures taken with the camera, had to look more interesting. Many pictures included sunshine and grooming. Which made 20th century photography, a lot different than 19th century photography.
