这个题是个推断题。原词定位：定位后最在位置是在for example 之后，我们下意识的看前面的主旨部分：elements should not be ordered strictly by atomic mass.也就是说不能按照mass排列，根据这句话我们往后找，不按照mass按照什么，找到最后一句否定mass的一句：We now know that atomic number (the number of protons in the nucleus)， not atomic mass number (the number of protons and neutrons)， determines chemical behavior.我们肯定了number，必然是这个词的关系，选与这个词有关的选项，D：t的number小于i。所以在前面。照应题目。

Paragraph 4：

这个很简单：定位原文是第三行的commensalism，后文是接着说一盒三中是KEY factor，说明是主要的;而这个题是个推断题，必然是中间那种是不主要的。所以选C，重要性-小。本题属于推断题目中明推----反推。
