通过阅读每段话的前几句我们很快得知，作者在文章首段提出了论述的观点：“东非食草动物的食性看似相同，但实际上并不相同。”;第二段和第三段解释食性不同的两个原因;第四段讲述食性对迁移的影响。从整体上来看，文章的结构还是十分清晰的。
二、读题干，做标记
通过浏览全文，清楚了文章的结构，把握了文章的主旨大意后，要学会结合四个选项看题干，并划出题干中的关键词。例如文章第11题的题干，可做标记为：

三、根据关键词，找出对应句
还是上面这道题，我们根据题干中的关键词“is beneficial to”很快定位到本段中的“The later species all depend on the preparations of the earlier one, for the actions of the zebra alter the vegetation to suit the stomachs of the wildebeest, topi, and gazelle.”意思是斑马的活动改变了植物，使其适合wildebeest、topi和gazelle的胃，因此这道题的正确答案是B选项。
四、比较选项看差异，选定正确答案
