一.控制速度
在托福阅读考试中出现的文章的长度一般都比较长，但是给考生的答题时间却不多，所以百利天下小编认为，考生在备考的过程中，一定要重视控制阅读速度和答题速度。在读文章的时候，如果遇到了自己不认识的单词和句型不要反反复复的一直来来回回的看这个题目，这样很容易造成时间的浪费，要学会放弃。其次，考生在备考的时候，要重视对于十大题型的以及相应的解题技巧的掌握，要做到在托福阅读考试中，看到这个题目，就会反应出来他属于哪一类的题目，在答题的时候应该采用怎样的技巧才能作对题目，节省作答时间。比如，对于细节题，考生在作答的时候，要掌握学会定位，根据文章中细节部分的阐述才能作对题目。但是对于托福阅读考试中的归总题，考生在作答的时候，就要迅速的扫一眼，整篇文章中每一段的段落大意，才能作对题目。比如考生在回答TPO25passage1中的第14题的时候，Volcanoes and impact craters are major features of Martian geology.

○ Studies of crater ejecta have revealed the possibility of a layer of permafrost below the surface of Mars.对于A选项中的Plate motion考生可以直接从文章中第二段的第一句排除;其次，D选项中的cannot yet reliably estimate the age可以根据文章中第五段的第二句排除，similar to conditions just below the surface of the Moon也可以根据第六对岸四五句话直接删除，所以正确选项即可选出是BCF。
二.学会选择
在托福阅读考试中，考生如果想要取得高分，除了要控制阅读速度之外，还要学会选择，因为托福阅读考试是以选择题的方式来考察考生的答题能力的。所以，如果考生在做选择题的时候，遇到了选项中包括了过于细节的部分，或者是和文章中的主要含义没有关系的选项，就可以排除它们。
