If you were to become a volunteer at the school or in the community, what kind of volunteer work would you do and why?
If I get an opportunity to do a voluntary work, I prefer to do some clean-ups in the school to create a comfortable studying atmosphere for all the students.
First, there are rampant litters or wastes everywhere on the playground of the school. Well, while the playground is supposed to be the place in which students can have fun and do some sports. Unfortunately, it is not very neat and clean. So cleaning up the playground can provide the students resting there with a good mood and relax them.
Besides, doing clean-ups at the school can raise students’ awareness to protect the surrounding circumstance. You know, by participating the clean-ups consciously, I can influence my friends and classmates around me, so that they will be also aware that environmental protection is really urgent and important.
Task2
Some people prefer to watch movies in theaters；others prefer to watch movies at home. Which one do you prefer? Explain your answer in details.
Personally speaking, I am fond of watching movies in theaters instead of watching them at home for the following reasons.
Primarily, the watching effects of movies in theaters are much better. In the theater, the screen is many times larger than what we have at home, and the sound effects are amazing. And all these factors help to build up the climax of movies, especially when it comes to IMAX movies.
Furthermore, the atmosphere in theaters is also easier for audiences to enjoy the movie. For example, when watching a horror movie, everyone in the theater may hold their breath and scream in complete darkness. This would add to the tense environment and would make the whole experience very thrilling. In contrast, a horror movie is not as horrific as when we watch it by ourselves at home.

1、整体印象:
(1)内容: 内容完整，让人能够理解，并有起承转合
(2)逻辑: 有条理，总分结构，一语中的。
2、意思表达: 语言流畅, 突出重点。语速适中,易于理解；
(1)每一部分都要有一个总起句，用最简洁的语言概括这一部分的核心观点/主要内容；如例文1中，first，besides之后都会先给出后面描述重点信息，然后展开说明；
(2)重点部分用重音强调,如例文1: I prefer to do…, 在“我”看来, 所以I这个词应该重读；
(3)句子之间适当停顿, 语调抑扬顿挫——要有节奏感, 韵律感。这个叫“high着说英语”,你high了,考官才能跟你一起high,否则连续听几个小时口语录音的考官最后都麻木了,你说啥他都没反应了；
(4)用合适的词语填补大脑空白，如:Well, you know。虽然很老套, 但是说得自然就显得很得体；
3、话题展开:
(1)结构:总起句+理由1及细节+理由2及细节。理由千万不要发生重复, 要逻辑清晰；如例文2中，第一点强调的是视觉效果，第二点则表达的是观看的感受。
(2)内容: 杜绝假大空, 多细节, 多实例；有些理由提出后，发现无法短时间之内整理出细节，可以选择具体的实例进行论证，比如例文2中在提出能让观众更好的投入，后面就举恐怖电影的例子来说，很生动和形象，也有效的展开了话题。
额外关注Tips：
独立口语理由的个数: 推荐2个, 可以1个, 不支持3个。原因: 2个理由既能说明你对自己的观点有信心, 有很多支持的依据, 又有充分的时间说明选择该理由的原因和细节；1个理由是指“一共2个理由,但是1个详说,1个略说”, 那个略说的甚至可以只说一句话。这种情况下至少有一个理由你已经说的非常全面具体,并且也大致介绍了一下另外一个理由,考官可能会认为你有说更多细节的潜质,只是时间不够了,所以依然会给高分；3个理由必然会占用说细节的时间, 最后你的回答就好像一个理由的清单(a list of reasons), 没有细节的理由不能称之为理由,绝对不会给高分, 顶多给个辛苦分。
4、语言运用:
(1)词汇: 广泛多样, 不必非要高级, 但忌讳重复, 忌讳词不达意；
(2)句式: 简单句与从句交替出现, 少用复杂句；
如例文1/2中，在回答题目的时候，并没有直接读题目,而是用自己的话转述。在后面的展开部分中也运用了很多句式，比如there be句型、动名词短语做主语、从句等，有效的把这些句式表达用到具体的展开部分中，此举是加分环节；
Part II综合口语高分秘诀
综合口语题旨在检验考生能否根据1到2段材料传达相关信息， 能否连贯地表达观点并通过恰当的解释和细节描写充实论点， 以及语言表达是否清晰流畅易于理解。综合口语部分能够拿到fair及good级别，关键要看考生能不能把听力的主要信息点转述出来，并且有效的结合阅读内容，说白了听力是综合口语拿分的关键。
1. 扎实的听力基础
因为托福口语考试的考试形式所致托福口语的考生会在托福口语备考过程中遇到听力的问题，这一个问题大家在托福的听力考试中同样也会遇到，此处建议是听写，而且我们要说的稍微言辞激烈一些，听力的提高必须依靠艰苦卓越的精听来提高，如果你不愿意努力，或者你认为随便听一听就可以提高你的听力水平，不好意思这是行不通的。
