The athlete I admire most is Yao Ming. First because， he is the tallest basketball player in China. You know what, some people call him the new giant. Mother
My mother influences me greatly in the past years. First because, my mother taught me to be a diligent person. For example, every morning she wakes up at 5 o’clock to prepare breakfast and then she does housework and she is never late for work. Second she teaches me to love life. She never complains this or that and always deals with difficulties with smile, especially when grandmother was dead in 2005. The teacher who influences me most is my biology teacher. First because he taught me interest is the best teacher, and I was infatuated with biology when I was a little boy, so I chose botany as my major basing on my interest. Second, he taught me never surrender to difficulties. So I will do my best when facing troubles and take a great pain to surmount troubles. The characteristics of friends
In my opinion, there are several characteristics a true friend should have. First, a true friend should be sincere. The reason why he or she wants to be my friends is not because I am rich, power, but because he or she really likes communicating with me. Second a true friend should be candid. When I make mistakes he or she would point out the defects and not flatter me and make me feel good. Finally, I think a friend in need is a friend indeed. For example, when I face trouble and need his or her help, he or she should give me a hand, and I could share my feelings with him or her. That all I think a true friend should have.
