In my view, I would prefer to live with local family when I study abroad for the following reasons. First, local family can provide a homey comfortable atmosphere for me. Since local family is familiar with the city, they will lead me to supermarket, cafeteria, and lots of daily places, thus it’s more convenient for me to live in a quite strange place and easy for me to get through the adaptation. Second, living with family enables me to learn more. Being involved in the local family, I can catch more information about their customs and habits so that I will expand my outlook and become familiar with their conventions.
