Thus , asking them to help with household tasks is definitely a good way to make children independent. For example, I was required by my mom to help prepare food since I was 10 years old and now living alone, I can cook really nice meals for myself.
Also, asking children to do household tasks can help them form a sense of responsibility that as a part of family, they should make contributions by doing house work, which is a virtue they will maintain and apply to their future life
