I prefer to study by myself for two reasons.
Firstly, studying alone insures that I can fully devote myself to studying without any disturbance or distraction from others. I used to chat or joke around with others when doing group study, which in my opinion is really harmful to the efficiency and quality of my study.
Secondly, by studying by myself, I can cultivate my independence. If I have others around, when encountering difficulties, I’m always inclined to ask for help instead of giving it a try, and I don’t think this is good for my future life and work.
