托福口语Task4模板

  很多新托福考生都认为口语考试的Task 4比task3部分的内容较难,很多考生都没有办法抓住其得分点,因为托福口语task4中的生僻词汇较多,专业领域词汇难积累而且例子较复杂,概括例子时间难掌控。所以在托福口语task4中,托福口语模板是考生托福备考必须掌握的重点要点。灵活运用托福口语模板将帮助你提高托福口语水平,增强托福口语备考实力。

  要想了解托福口语task4的模板,首先我们要了解托福口语task4主要考察的出题形式和考察重点有哪些。托福口语task4的题目流程和Task3是一样的,也是阅读,听力和作答三者结合,都属于综合口语题型。不过阅读中主要是关于an academic topic,这个题目中答案的得分点主要包括三个方面使用听力讲座中的例子;解释文章中的一个概念是什么;这个概念是如何发挥作用的。所以我们的模板也需要根据这三个方面来准备。总的来说,这部分就要考察你将阅读中的重点和听力对话中的例子想结合的能力!

  1.第一类: 关于某理论及支持范例 (theory and its examples, study, or research)

  模版一:

  In the lecture, the professor mainly talked about the concept / theory/ definition that__________.

  To reinforce the theory, the professor gave two examples / reasons in his speech. In the first example,___________. The same thing happens __________.

  举例:

  In the lecture, the professor mainly talked about the concept of audience effect which means people would perform differently when they know they are being watched. To reinforce the theory, the professor gave two examples in his speech. In the first example, two groups of students were asked to put on some shoes, while the first group knew they were being watched, the other group didn’t. The result shows that the first group put on the shoes faster than the second group. The same thing happens when people learn a new activity. When we learn how to type, and know that we are being observed, we would type faster, but we will also make more mistakes.(TPO2 task4)

  模板二:

  From the reading material, we know that…(关键术语,定义)

  To demonstrate it, the speaker provides two examples/reasons/researches. One example is that……

  Another example is that……。.So the suggestion is that……

  第二类: 有关某问题/过程/特征的分析或研究 (regarding the analysis or research of certain phenomenon / problem / process /feature)

  模版一:

  The reading passage describes the phenomenon / the problem / process / some functions /features of ______.

  XXX______ is _______(definition)

  In the listening passage, the professor gives the demonstration of it by introducing some researches / analysis.

  The first one is ___________.

  The second one is ___________.

  具体题目举例:

  The Dead Sea

  In this set of materials, the reading part describes the a body of water, and listening part provides additional information about the body of water.

  The reading part describes the body of water named the Dead Sea. This body of water is said to be “dead” because its high salt level prevents life in it. It‘s so salty for the reason that it’s landlocked with no outlet, and it‘s in an area with a high temperature this causes rapid evaporation.

  在使用这些模板的时候,我们没有必要一味的照抄照搬,可以在大家掌握一些指示词和过渡词的情况下,实现同义替换,让这些模板更加有自己的特点。

  (1)表选择关系或对等关系的连接词:either…or…,neither…nor, or, as well as…, and, both…and…。

  (2)表因果关系或对等关系的连接词:therefore, so, as a result, as the result of …,because of, due to …,owing to, thanks to等。

  (3)表时间顺序的连接词:the moment, as soon as, at first, then, later, meanwhile, at the beginning, in the end, before long, for the first(second…)time, the minute等。

  (4)表转折关系的连接词:yet, and yet, but , while, on the contrary, on the other hand, however, at the same time(然而)等。

  (5)表解释说明的连接词:that is, that is to say, in other words, such as, for instance, and so on, etc. and the like等。

  (6)表递进关系的连接词:not only…but (also), what,s more, what's worse, besides, in addition, worse still, moreover, above all等。

  综上所述,在回答口语第四题时,我们需要努力的方向是将原文中所包含的意思完整地记录下来,并且省略掉一些细节,计算时间,用合理的字数和模板来概括原文。只有这样,才能将口语中较难的第四题的得分点抓住。
