In the past young people didn't care about improving the world, so they never spent timeimproving it. That is why it is getting worse and worse. Young people today, however, careabout the world very much so they are willing to invest their time in order to improve it. Andthe reason young people nowadays care about the world is because they still have to live in itfor a long time and because they are more enlightened.
In the past young people did not spend time improving the world, so they must not havecared about it. I don't know why they didn't care about it because I am young and care a lotabout the world. But I know they didn't invest their time to improve the world because thereare so many problems now. If young people in the past had made the effort to improve theworld, there wouldn't be so many problems. For example, the world is now facing a seriousenvironmental problem. If young people in the past had recycled and done other things for theenvironment we wouldn't have this big problem now. It seems those young people were toobusy spending time on themselves.
Nowadays young people care very much about the world and are willing to spend their timeto improve it. For example many of my friends and I often talk about the environment and weall agree we should solve the environmental problem. That is why we sometimes spend sometime to clean the environment. For example, two years ago I saw some trash on the street. Itwould have been faster for me to walk past it. However, I decided to use some time to pick it upand put it in the trash. This shows that I care about the world and am willing to spend time toimprove it.
I think that the reason young people care about the world and want to improve it isbecause they still have to live in the world for many more years. We don't want to live in a dirtyworld. Instead we want to live in a clean place. And since the young people from the past don'tcare about the world they don't spend time to clean it. But today's young people are moreenlightened, so they are willing to invest more time to improve the world.
In the past young people didn't spend their time improving the world. That is why youngpeople today are faced with serious problems, such as the environment. But young peopletoday are enlightened and value living their life in a clean world. They care about it so they arewilling to invest their time.
