女性类文章的背景介绍
人类社会进入19世纪后，随着西方近代工业文明的发展，封建社会文化对人类精神的束缚逐渐松动。在这种社会背景下，妇女要求在家庭中具有与男子乡等地为的呼声越来越高，女权运动开始萌芽。

美国历史上有过两次规模较大的妇女运动。一次发生在19世纪中叶至20世纪初，其宗旨是为美国妇女争取选举权。以伊丽莎白·凯迪·斯坦顿(Elizabeth Cady Stanton)为代表的全国妇女选举权协会(National woman suffrage Association)屡次要求联邦国会允许妇女参与政治投票，在14,15次修订案中屡次遭到拒绝，最终于1920年美国宪法第19条修正案(bill of amendment)通过。此后这场妇女运动的势头开始逐渐减弱，直至萎靡不前。
第二次的美国妇女运动始于本世纪60年代中期，其目标和范围涉及到妇女权利和妇女权益的方方面面，因而它在深度和广度上都超过第一次妇女运动。这场妇女运动对当代美国政治、社会和文化价值已经和仍在产生重大的影响。
