GMAT语法改错可以分为两大类
1.CORRECTIVENESS 有这种错误，该选项必错
2.EFFECTIVENESS 有这种错误，该选项未必错
=〉GMAT语法改错EFFECTIVENESS1、简洁原则：选择相对简洁的表达方式2、忠实原文的意思：正确选项不能随意的改变原文的意思。只有10&的正确选项改变了原文的意思,因为原文的表达错误。

A.occuring when a child 所有的GMAT A选项都是原文，也可能是正确答案。其余四个选项是在A选项的基础上做了一定的改动 ，所以GMAT改错解题的原则是， 排除法。 GMAT改错中永远选择相对正确的一项,而非一定正确的答案。
A.B. occurringC.D.E. that occurred现在分词强调的是重复性动作，定语从句强调的是一次性动作根据题干的意思，排除A.B.
C.that occurred when a child D....when they were children E.....that has occurred as each was a child 时态错误 men and women --> children答案： D

一般来说,有生命的要用"'s"，没有生命的事物要尽量使用"of" 例如，the legs of the desk/the dog's legs 西方认为只有人跟动物才有生命

平行对称结构 若干个分句，在最后一个分句前有"and" 各个分句平行对称，要求：形式对称， 如果第一个分句是"can do a"，第二个是"can do b"，则后面都是"can do" 如果第一个分句是"can do a"，第二个是"do b"，则后面分句都是"do"
最后一个分句的连接词，肯定句使用"and"，否定或者选择时使用"or" The city was destroyed or heavily damaged. I have never been to the United States. 肯定句英文根据否定词判断否定句，否定词no, not I have never been to the United States, Japan, and Europe.
