见到比较看对象，对象通常不合理,这个就是我们通常发现GMAT语法对比较的考察，比较这个考点只要找到比较对象就可以，本讲就给大家运用一些典型例子讲解一下GMAT语法比较真题解析。
例1：
Like the idolization accorded the Brontes and Brownings, James Joyce and Virginia Woolf are often subjected to the kind of veneration that blurs the distinction between the artist and the human being.
· A Like the idolization accorded the Brontes and Brownings, 分析A选项
· B As the Bront?s' and Brownings' idolization, 分析B选项
· C Like that accorded to the Brontes and Brownings, 分析C选项
· D As it is of the Brontes and Brownings, 分析D选项
· E Like the Brontes and Brownings,
句子分析：
(A)Like后面跟了一个名词idolization，like的使用方法是like A，B这样平行并列，其中B是句子的主语，那么这个句子主语是什么呢?James Joyce and Virginia Woolf 是句子的主语，发现句子主语是两个人，所以like后边的那个名词也应该是人才可以，所以A选项核心词“idolization”与“James Joyce and Virginia Woolf”相比，无法形成合理的比较关系。排除A
(B)选项，as的比较如果是主语和主语的话，是需要加上助动词的，这样才能体现出as连词的功能，另外“as”单独使用连接名词性结构时表达的含义并非比较，而是“作为”，即使我们认为“as”后面连接的是一个省略得只剩主语“the Brontes' and Brownings' idolization”的比较从句，“the Brontes' and Brownings' idolization”也和主句的主语“James Joyce and Virginia Woolf”不平行。排除B.
(C)that指的是相同概念不同事物，这个句子中找不到that指代的内容，连先行词都没有，排除C.
(D)as虽然后面跟了一个完整的句子，但是用了it is of sb的句型，这样It不知道是做的形式主语还是代词的指代，如果作为代词指代没有先行词，是不对的，如果是作为形式主语，真正的主语也找不到，所以it使用错误。
(E)like后面跟着“the Brontes and Brownings”，而句子的主语“James Joyce and Virginia Woolf”平行。正确。
正确句子：
Like the Brontes and Brownings, James Joyce and Virginia Woolf are often subjected to the kind of veneration that blurs the distinction between the artist and the human being.
注意：the+姓+复数，例如the Brontes and Brownings”表示的是一个家族的人，指的是勃朗特三姐妹。
主句的主语是James Joyce and Virginia Woolf ，谓语动词are often subjected to，that 引导定语从句，that在从句中充当主语，先行词是veneration，谓语动词是blurs 是单三形式，
例2：
As contrasted with the honeybee, the yellow jacket can sting repeatedly without dying and carries a potent venom that can cause intense pain.
(A) As contrasted with the honeybee,
(B) In contrast to the honeybee’s,
(C) Unlike the sting of the honeybee,
(D) Unlike that of the honeybee,
(E) Unlike the honeybee,
分析：这道题考察as的使用，后面跟了一个contrasted with，我们可以回想一下contrast的固定搭配使用都有哪些?有in contrast with x,y;in contrast to x,y;不存在“as contrasted with”这种搭配。
(A)固定搭配错误，排除。
(B)比较对象应平行可比，“honeybee's”——“蜜蜂的(蛰咬)”和“the yellow jacket”不可比，排除。
(C) unlike的使用方式unlike x,y,其中x和y要平行。Unlike后面的 the sting of the honeybee的核心名词是the sting 与the yellow jacket不平行，排除C.
(D)看到that要找到先行词，但是在这之前根本就没有名词出现，所以that使用不可以，排除。
(E) “the honeybee”和“the yellow jacket”正确地使用“unlike”进行了比较。【正确】。
正确句子：
Unlike the honeybee, the yellow jacket can sting repeatedly without dying and carries a potent venom that can cause intense pain.
句子主语the yellow jacket ，谓语动词sting ， repeatedly是副词修饰谓语动词做状语，without dying and carries a potent venom 是谓语动词的平行并列，因为without dying 这个介词短语充当的是状语成分，因为句子主语是he yellow jacket是单数第三人称，所以and carries用法正确，其实完整句子应该是the yellow jacket can sting and the yellow jacket carries ,所以并列的是谓语动词而不是sting。Venom后面跟一个that定语从句，that充当主语。
