二、对上文的赘述的表达。
这类内容主要是针对上文内容的赘述，所以可以忽略不读，大概了解基本内容就可以了。真实案例：
例如：Suppose that the population consisted mostly of females: then an individual who produced sons only would have more grand children. In contrast, if the population consisted mostly of males, it would pay to have daughters.
In Contrast后面的内容可以直接的推断出来，所以当考生可以了解文章后边叙述什么内容的时候，就可以将这些内容进行略读。
