一.逻辑顺序考察
新SAT要求考生能够判断某个句子应该放置在文章中的哪个合适的位置。这种考点在改革前SAT语法的改进篇章Improving Paragraph题目中也有所考察。SAT语法对于逻辑顺序Logical sequence的考察，会分为移动句子、插入句子、移动段落几种不同的形式，然而形式虽然多变，题目解决起来有很多规律可循。

二.做题方法技巧
1. 首先，阅读并分析需要移动的句子/段落，寻找关键的信号词
所谓信号词就是说在看到某些特定的词汇时，我们可以依据信号词对句子前后的文本内容有所预判，可以有目标的去核对选项的正误。具体而言，信号词包括三大类：指代关系词、逻辑连接词、核心名词。
指代关系词不言而喻，是that, this, it, they, such, one, another，some这类型的词汇，代词出现要根据句意及句子结构寻找指代对象，通过指代对象的限定，缩小范围;
逻辑连接词主要包括顺序、转折、因果、强调、举例、类比等等，通过逻辑词的判断，可以预判作者的态度或者观点，同样可以帮助我们锁定位置;
核心名词即句子本身论述主体，确定主体后即可判断。
2. 其次，根据之前找到的信号词，预估作者前后文的写作内容
3. 最后，通过选项里面标定的位置逐一代入排查，最终确定答案

三.例题详解
Petroleum Engineering: A Booming Career
