三.SAT改革相关政策
Update: Standardized Testing Policy for the Class of 2021 and Beyond
Tufts will require either the SAT (without the optional essay) plus two SAT Subject Tests, or the ACT (the writing section will no longer be required.) You may submit SAT essay scores or ACT writing scores to Tufts if you choose to sit for these sections, but please note that they are not required and sending them will not increase a student’s likelihood of admission.
If you will be submitting ‘old’ SAT scores as well as scores from the redesigned test, we will look at both individually but cannot superscore between them.
2016年3月SAT改革考试实行以后，塔夫茨大学针对这次改革，对新老SAT成绩也作出了相关的说明。
塔夫茨大学要求考生提交SAT成绩(不要求选考部分的写作成绩)和两门SAT2考试成绩，或者是ACT成绩。考生可以提交新SAT考试的选考写作成绩或者ACT写作成绩，但是这并不能提高考生被录取的可能性。
如果考生既提交了改革前的SAT成绩，也提交了新SAT成绩，那么这两次的成绩会分开计分，但是不能进行拼分。
