  2.main points

Hello ,everybody, I am here today, because I visited caves all over North America. Since you are going to study cave formations. Dr. Bow asked me to come and share some of my experiences with you.

然后我们来看一下cave是什么?A cave or cavern is a natural underground space large enough for a human to enter. The term applies to natural cavities some part of which is in total darkness.

  Main topic:

In addition,to describe some technical aspects, I would convey the sense of adventure that cavers share.

  注意:

Q1: What is the lecture mainly about?

To share the experience of visiting caves.

Q2: What has the speaker found?

  Part1(1)

Recently, I visited the La Chagire cave in New Mexico, my dream has always been to discover a new passage way. I had a chance here, because La Chagire is so large that discoveries arc frequently made there.

Part1(2) The cave itself wasn’t even discovered until 1986. However, people in the area had figured that there must be a large cave nearby, because of the strong wind that blew from behind the rock that covered the entrance.这个山洞在

  PART 1(3)

Enormous amounts of air enter and exit the cave in order to maintain the balance of pressure with the outside atmosphere.

  Part2(1)

When I climbed into the cave, I had to fight 45 mile-an-hour winds. After all that effort, I had to be extra careful about maintaining my energy level.

  Part2(2)

People who are tired tend to be careless, and may be more concerned about getting out of the cave than taking care of it.

  Part2(3)

There are formations in La Chagire that look like ocean waves, Christmas trees and other stuff no one has ever seen before.

  Part2(4)

Caves are usually created by carbonic acid that trickles down from above, but this cave was sculpted out by very powerful sulfuric acid that rose up from below.

所以,我们可以综合以上信息来回答第二个问题,There are formations in La Chagire that look like ocean waves, Christmas trees and other stuff no one has ever seen before.

最后,我们来看一下key points:这篇文章主要是to share the sense of adventure in La Chagire cave,从special finding of La Chagire cave和Its cause of formation来讲述。
