1:threat the wildlife especially the young ones.
2: pollute the atmosphere
3: natural fires will also happen
听力观点(反驳)
1:prescribed burns 有time plan, 在animals不是reproduce是时候进行,就没有young的会受威胁。不在reproduction期间的话,就本身没有young ones,mature ones会remove 很快。
2:forest growth will absorb CO2 quickly, forests grow fast to absorb
3:natural fires确实有,但是没有那么大的威力。

题目:Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People who develop many different skills are more successful than people who just focus on one skill only.
范文:
In today's competitive society, people are educated to develop uncountable different skills in the fear of being behind others, or in the hope of becoming successful. For this reason, people (are busy involved)/embed themselves in learning many skills, like computer, language skills and so forth. It induces the statement that people who develop many different skills are more successful than people who focus on one skill only. But personally speaking, I totally disagree with that kind of statement.
As the old famous aphorism says, number is not so important in armies as quality, which could equally apply in the skills we need to develop. Superficial learning different skills have no better than focusing a specific skill, or even worse. In fact, we all have limited/infinite time or energy and should not spread too thin. In my view, miracles sometimes occur, if only one makes a desperate effort to focus on one skill. It has already been proved by a lot of domestic and foreign success. For instance, Liu Xiang, a Chinese most famous athlete, had started practicing 110 meter hurdles since 15 years old. Over the past 14 years, what he only focused on was 110 meter hurdles. Never had he given up training no matter how tough or tedious the course of this train was. Liu Xiang finally succeeded worldwide and he deserved it. So were Wright Brothers. They devoted all their lives to pursuing one unreachable goal----creating an airplane. Failures and disappointment were along with their experiment, I believe. But they still keep on pursuing it. No one would deny their attribution to the world although they only had the skills of creating airplane without many other skills.
Some people believe that developing many different skills could somehow confront the increasing difficulty of being employed by a self-satisfying company with the saturated job market. I think it can just serve as a temporary approach, but won't last long. Fewer promotion opportunities would be provided for an employee who is lack of one specialize skill than the expertise in one domain. Naturally, enterprises will be more interested in hiring the people who have an outstanding skill. Therefore, in the comparison, we could conclude that having a particular skill has a better influence in employment.
Above all, the person who has an art has everywhere a part. The people who focus on one skill only sometimes is more successful than the person who have many different kinds of skills.
