Your university is planning to use electronic books to replace paper books and magazines in its library. What is your opinion about this plan?

  agree

Ø development of network information, electronic books are convenient.

Ø digital books can be updated cheaply --high efficiency and low cost.

  Ø save spaces and materials

Ø easily accessible to the boundless education resource online

  二.范文

Yes I agree with this statement because based on the rapid development of network information, electronic books will become increasingly accepted, while paper books and magazines are too inconvenient. It must be admitted that paper books and magazines will still be used in universities, at least for some time. However, digital books, which can be updated cheaply and often, will probably come to replace their paper counterparts because of its high efficiency and low cost. Besides, the digital learning sources save spaces and materials to produce. Finally, students who use electronic books are easily accessible to the boundless education resource online. And students can access to the newest information in seconds and share with people from all over the world. (120 words)

  三.词汇

  1. statement:n.

Can you deny the truth of her statement?

  2.be based on:基于

Now, Paul Wyatt says a drug based on the research could be ready for testing in humans within eighteen months.

  3. admit:vt.

  He frankly admitted his error.

  4. counterparts:n.

When I speak with my Chinese counterparts, they often talk to me in passionate terms about how far their country still has to go.

  5. boundless:adj.

A fine example has boundless power

You can make a note private, or only accessible to the owner of the document

  1. Yes I agree with this statement because based on the rapid development of network information, electronic books will become increasingly accepted, while paper books and magazines are too inconvenient.

while paper books and magazines are too inconvenient.

  2. However, digital books, which can be updated cheaply and often, will probably come to replace their paper counterparts because of its high efficiency and low cost.

  3. Besides, the digital learning sources save spaces and materials to produce.
