首先，前程百利小编认为，考生应该学会掌握转述的一些基本的句型，通过运用不同的句型让P(General principle)和D(detail follow)部分在答案自然的出现。
①General principle部分的转述句型
前程百利小编认为，首先考生应该掌握一些常用的转述General principle的句型，比如The lecture describes…../the subject of the talk is…/the lecture is mostly about…/In the lecture, the professor focuses on….。例：在回答TPO2task4中阅读部分的General principle的时候，考生可以用In the lecture, the professor focuses on….转述阅读中的主要内容即In the lecture, the professor focuses on the audience effect which means people would perform differently when they know they are being watched来回答。
②Detail部分的转述句型
其次，考生还需要掌握引出detail部分的句型，把听力和阅读两者联系起来，并清晰的表达听力部分的主要内容。比如一些常用的句型：If you look at the details/The professor gives several examples…/The reason for this is…./The first reason is that…./The same thing happens。小编认为考生在回答TPO2的task4的时候，在说完General principle之后，就可以用The professor gives several examples to support his ideas.引出听力部分。然后用In the first example引出第一个例子。In the first example, two groups of students were asked to put on some shoes, while the first group knew they were being watched, the other group didn’t.接着用 The same thing happens 引出第二个例子即The same thing happens when people learn a new activity. 二.掌握paraphrase的技巧
托福口语task4的答案虽然都来自于阅读和听力中，但是考生在组织答案的时候不应该一味的照抄原句，所以除了掌握以上转述的句型之外，考生还应该学会paraphrase的技巧，从内容上进行转述。
前程百利小编认为，在task4中，最常用的paraphrase的技巧其实就是将长句合并。因为托福口语task4中的论述文章主要内容的句子一般都比较长，比如在阅读中一般会用2-3句话表达自己的观点。所以在进行paraphrase的时候，考生只需要把这些表述同一话题的句子进行合并即可。比如在回答TPO1task4的时候，原句中是One process by which groups may make bad or irrational decisions is known as groupthink. Individual members of a group attempt to conform their opinions to what they believe to be the group consensus even though the result may be negative.。在回答的时候，考生就可以把两个句子合并成为一句，The professor talks about groupthink which means sometimes people would make a bad decision as a group.就可以清晰的表达自己的观点了。
