Some people believe that television has had a positive influence on society. Others believe it has had a negative influence on society. Which do you agree with and why? Use details and examples to explain your opinion.
一.题目分析
题目中的主要内容是围绕着很多人对television 的看法展开的，一种人认为电视对社会有积极的影响，另一种人认为电视对社会的有消极的影响，问考生是否同意哪一个观点并且详细的论述自己的观点。从题目中，我们可以分析出来，这个题目属于二选一的类型，考生在选择的时候只要选择其中的一方进行论述，并且可以用充足的观点表达自己的观点即可。
二.构思
这个题目考生从认为电视对于社会有积极的影响或者是电视对于社会有消极的影响入手准备答案都是可以的，但是需要题型考生注意的是，在组织答案的时候最好使用总分的方式来表达自己的观点。
1.积极
①讲述自己的观点，state your stand

I think television has a positive influence on society. (总论点，positive表达了支持的观点)
It’s a good source of news. The members in the society can get news easily from News Channels and thus keep themselves informed of what’s happening around.
Like, my grandfather watches News on TV every day just to keep up with the latest events. (分论点1，电视好的原因是可以让社会成员迅速有效的得知外界的信息)
Besides, television can be a kind of entertainment. People can watch different shows on TV such as funny talk shows and soap operas. I have many friends who like watching late show with David Letterman and some other friends like watching TV series such as Lost and Friends.
