一、二段式分析题型介绍
官网上关于二段式分析题的题型定义如下:解题包括两个部分,可选答案将以列表形式展现,每部分各一栏。
Select One Answer from each column to solve a problem with a two-part solution. Possible answers will be presented in a table with a column for each part.
英文介绍中我们要注意,在一个题目中只有一个选项,是单选题。另外需要注意的一点是,虽然二段式分析是两个题目,但是这两道题目的选项是共用的。
二、图表分析题的例题分析
1、例题一。
The Quasi JX is a new car model. Under ideal driving conditions, the Quasi JX's fuel economy is E kilometers per liter(E km/l) when its driving speed is constant at S kilometers per hour (S km/h).
In terms of the variables S and E, select the expression that represents the number of liters of fuel used in 1 hour of driving under ideal driving conditions at a constant speed S, and select the expression that represents the number of liters of fuel used in a 60 km drive under Ideal driving conditions at a constant speed S. Make only two selections, one in each column.

问题二:求当汽车行驶60公里时,需要耗油说少?
分析:虽然上面不同的列中是两个不同的题,但是这两个题的选项是公用的,且只能各列选择一个选项。我们的计算公式如下:
一升可以走E千米,即1 (L)=E (K);一小时可以走S千米,即1 (h)=S (K);
1/x=E/S,x=S/E。
1/y=E/60,y=60/E。
正确答案:1&3。
2、例题二。
The following excerpt from a fictitious science news report discusses a fictitious type of location called a morefa.
For zoologists studying the behavior of certain species of birds, the critical importance of observing the birds in those species' morefa during the annual breeding season is obvious. Such observation allows researchers to study not only the courtship displays of many different individuals within a species, but also the species' social hierarchy. Moreover, since some species repeatedly return to the same morefa, researchers can study changes in group dynamics from year to year. The value of observing a morefa when the birds are not present, however—such as prior to their arrival or after they have abandoned the area to establish their nests—is only now becoming apparent.

题意:动物学家研究的是鸟类的行为习惯,前面作者一直在说在M这个地方观察鸟类的好处,其中有个前提是,当时在M这个地方有鸟给你观察。那么这句话就是说如果那个地方没鸟怎么办。句子意思大致如下:仅仅从最近开始,即使M没有鸟(破折号表解释),要么就是鸟儿还没来,要么就是鸟儿已经飞走去筑巢了(破折号表解释),观察M这个地方依然是有价值的。
我们提炼一些要点:
第一段文字中我们要注意文中的三个标志词:not only…but also…和Moreover…
Positive:
Study the courtship
Study the social hierarchy
some return to the same morefa
Negative:
Will leave the morefa to build a nests
问题一:根据提干当中关于M的定义,当鸟类的居住地点为morefa,下面的哪种活动必定发生?
问题二:当鸟类的居住地点为morefa,哪种行为必定不会发生?
从下列答案中选出两个正确选项。
分析:选项A和选项B并没有提到;选项C提到了,但是不是在M地,而是去其它地方筑巢;选项D提到保留;选项E无关。
其中,选项D是在M当地发生的事,而选项C筑巢是离开M低会发生的事,所以问题一选C,问题二选D。
3、例题三。
Over a period of 5 academic years from Fall 1999 through Spring 2004, the number of faculty at a certain college increased despite a decrease in student enrollment from 5,500 students in Fall 1999.
In the given expressions, F and S represent the percent change in the number of faculty and students, respectively, over the 5 academic years,
and R represents the number of students per faculty member in Fall 1999. The percent change in a quantity X is calculated using the formula

答案:
同F的计算方法一样:
S%=[ Snum(04)-Snum(99) ]/Snum(99), 于是Snum(04)=(1+S%)*Snum(99)
F%=[Fnum(04)-Fnum(99)]/Fnum(99), 于是Fnum(04) = (1+F%) *Fnum(99)
再加上Fnum(99)=Snum(99)/R
Snum(04)/Fnum(99) =R*(1+S%)/(1+F%) = R*(100+S)/(100+F)
1999有5500个学生,R是1999年的平均每个系的学生,故R=5500/系数量,即系数量=5500/R
从定义上,R=学生数/系数量,故2004年的新R/1999年的R=(1+S%)/(1+F%),移项得到新的R=(100+S)/(100+F)*R
三、二段式分析解题注意事项
1、对阅读要求高。
2、不仅考察数学,而且考察语文。
