全部倒装: 把整个谓语动词置于主语之前.
1.here, there, away, down, in, up, off, out, now, then, next, thus 等副词开头的句子里,谓语动词只有一个,主语不是代词。Now comes your turn.Out rushed the crowd.※如果主语为代词,则主谓语序不变.Here you are.Out they rushed.
2. 介词短语作状语放句首。那张桌子下睡着一只棕色的猫。Under that table sleeps a brown cat.North of the city lies a big paper mill.
3. 表语置于句首表强调,倒装结构为:表语+连系动词+主语1)形容词+系动词+主语出席会议的是怀特教授。Present at the meeting was Professor White.2)过去分词+系动词+主语Gone are the days when they could do what they like to the Chinese people.3)介词短语+be+主语Among the presents are flowers, candles and toys.
4. 用于so, nor, neither, 开头的句子,表示重复前句的部分内容; 原句的谓语应于前句谓语的时态,形式相一致.I like music ;so does my sister.I don’t like music; neither/nor does my sister.※当句子中既有否定又有肯定; 或有多个形式不一的谓语时,应用:So it is with sb. / It is the same with sb.※ as 有时也可有这种用法,相当于so,表明前面的情况也可同样适用于后者.A better understanding of the environment is necessary, as is the willingness to act.哈里也象他的兄弟们一样,身材奇高.Harry is unusually tall, as are his brothers.
5. 直接引语的全部或一部分置于句首时“ Help!” shouted the boy.“ Exactly,” said my father, shaking the old man’s hand.※主语为代词时不倒装.“Let’s go” he said.
6. 为了保证句子平衡,或为了强调表语或状语, 或为了使上下文紧密衔接时.They arrived at a farm house, in front of which sat a small boy.Inside the Pyramids are the burial rooms for the kings and queens and long passages to these rooms.
