A circle consists of all the points that are the same distance from one fixed point, called the center. That distance is called the radius
一个圆是由从同一个点出发的距离相等的点组合而成,这段距离叫做半径。
Radius半径复数是radii
Any triangle, such as △COD in the figure above, formed by connecting the endpoints of two radii is isosceles.
任意一个三角形,由圆心到圆上任意两点的连接组成的都是等腰三角形。
Diameter直径
规律1:If d is the diameter and r the radius of a circle, then d = 2r.
如果d是直径,那么d=2r
规律2:A diameter is the longest line segment that can be drawn in a circle.
在一个圆中最长的线段就是直径

对于每一个圆形:
π= circumference/diameter =C/d or C = πd or C = 2πr
规律1:The degree measure of an arc equals the degree measure of the central angle that intercepts it.
一个弧度的度数与其对应中心角的度数是相等的。
规律2:The formula for the area of a circle of radius r is A = πr 2.
一个圆的面积公式是A = πr 2(r是半径).
If an arc measures x°, the length of the arc is X/360*(2πr); and the area of the sector formed by the arc and two radii is X/360 *(πr2).

规律3:A line tangent to a circle is perpendicular to the radius drawn to the point of contact.一个圆切线与切点到圆心的半径是垂直的。
