托福综合口语task4该怎样组织答案

  一.综合口语task4的答题结构

  首先,我们来回顾一下综合口语task4的答题结构。在答案中应该包括三部分,分别是解释说明概念部分,这个主要是从阅读文章中总结相关信;复述例子;点明例子如何说明概念。

  二.如何保卫阅读文章中关键信息

  通过把握标题标点划分层次,通过把握表示逻辑关系词以及把握阅读文章中的第一句话,来判定关键信息是什么。同样这个方法也使用于听力中。

  三.例子

  (一)TPO7task4 Behavior Modification,

  1题型的基本信息

  涉及到了两种情况,如果个人通过一些经验,了解到自己的行为会导致某种比较好的结果,这个时候他就会重复自己的行为。这种行为不仅仅会出现在实验中,还会体现在生活中。

  听听力,首先来听问题,Using the example from the lecture, explain what behavior modification is and how it works.用自己的话来解释说明behavior modification,准备时间是30秒,答题时间是60秒。

  2答案组织

  (1)阅读中的关键信息In daily life, individuals will change their behaviors according to the possible consequences. Pleasant consequences will result in repeated behaviors, while unpleasant consequences will not make them repeat such behaviors. Such phenomenon is called modification behavior.在日常生活中,根据可能的结果来修正行为;具体说明两种情况好的结果会去重复这种行为,不好的结果就不会去重复,这种结果就是修正欣慰。

  (2)听力中的关键信息

  ①This happens all the time with kids in schools. (经常会在小孩子身上发生)Say there was a little boy or girl who’s just starting school.而且从Say there was a little boy or girl who’s just starting school.这句话中可以推断中,教授会以刚刚上学的孩子为例来解释信息。可以转述为The professor takes the kids who just started school as an example.

  ②So at the beginning they might, I don’t know, interrupt the teacher, walk around the classroom when they’re supposed to be sitting down. You know, just misbehaving in general. Ok, but, what happens? Well, the teacher gets angry with them when they act this way. They might get punished. They have to sit at their desks when everyone else is allowed to go outside and play. And they certainly don’t like that. Soon, they’ll learn that this kind of behavior gets them in trouble.一开始孩子们可能会在应该坐着的时候,站起来打断老师的讲话。这个时候老师就会读他们很生气,所以孩子们可能会收到惩罚。当别人都出去玩的时候,这些孩子可能就会在桌子前坐着。当然呢,这些孩子也是不喜欢这种情况的,过了不久,他们就意识到,他们的这种行为,让他们遇到了麻烦。这些其实就照应了我们阅读中的第一种情况,就是当他们的行为遇到不好的结果的时候,他们就不会去重复这种行为。因此,我们可以提炼为At the beginning ,when they misbehave in class to interrupt the teacher, such as walking around in the classroom when they should be sitting down, the teacher will be angry with them and punish them. When they realize this kind of behavior gets them in trouble, they will not do it again.

  ③我们再来看看听力原文部分。They’ll also learn that when they raise their hand to talk to the teacher and sit quietly and pay attention during class, they are rewarded. (当孩子们安安静静的在教室内听讲的时候,老师就会表扬他们。)The teacher tells them she’s proud of them and maybe puts a little happy-face sticker on their homework. (具体表扬的方式)Now that their behavior gets a good reaction from the teacher, the kids learn to always act this way in class. And not behave the way they used to.(补充说明,他们就会一直这么做,重复这种行为,对应了阅读文章)以上的文章信息我们可以转述为But after the kids learn that when they behave well in class, such as raising hand to talk to the teacher and sitting quietly and paying attention during class, they will receive some little rewards from the teacher. And the kids will always comply with(遵守)the rules in class.

  ④如果考生有时间,还要点明一些听力和阅读部分之间的关系。Such children’s behavior change according to the teacher’s attitude is called behavior modification.

  (二)TPO8TASK4 Revealing Coloration

  1. 题型的基本信息

  阅读部分的主要内容是revealing coloration是动物采用的一种保护自己的方法,采用这种方法的动物在自己身上就有亮色之处,其中bright color on some part of their body是重点信息。这种亮色部分通常是它们的敌人看不到的。当动物靠近它们的时候,它们就会把自己的亮色之处突然亮出来,会惊吓到它们的敌人,因此它们就可以逃跑。

  然后,我们来看看题目的要求Using the example of the Peanut Bug and the morpho butterfly, explain the concept of revealing coloration.准备时间是30秒,答题时间是60秒

  2.组织答案

  (1)阅读

  Revealing coloration refers to a method adopted by animals to suddenly expose the bright color area on the body. Such behavior makes the predators confused a lot , so that the animals can get away.这部分是我们根据阅读文章中的信息。这是动物采取得一种方法,突然把自己的亮色暴露出来,这样的行为就会让他的敌人们收到惊吓,因此它们就可以逃跑。而且从问题中,我们可以得出,教授是举例两个例子来论述自己的观点的即From the lecture ,the professor gives us two examples to explain how animals employ this strategy.

  (2)听力

  ①There’s a large tropical insect called the Peanut Bug. Yes, like the peanuts you eat. Um, and the Peanut Bugs front wings are colored so they blend in(混合) with their surroundings.这是文章中举的第一个例子,即在热带有一种昆虫,叫做Peanut Bug,它的前翅膀的颜色和周围的颜色是一样的。

  But its back wings, which are usually closed and hidden, have these bright colorful spots on them. And when the Peanut Bugs are attacked, it suddenly opens its back wings and out pop these bright colors. And that surprises the predator and gives the Peanut Bug a chance to get away. 在Peanut Bug的后翅是黑色的,当敌人攻击它的时候,它就会突然张开自己的后翅,把自己身上的亮色之处亮出来,这种行为就会让它的敌人受到,它就可以逃跑。

  因此针对第一个例子,我们可以总结为The first example is the peanut bug. It will suddenly expose its bright colorful spots which are hided in its back wings when it is attacked by its predators. This action will make the predator confused for a while .Then the peanut bug will take advantage of this short period to get away.

  ②Then you have a butterfly called the morpho butterfly. And parts of the morpho butterfly wings are very shiny. They reflect a lot of sunlight. When this butterfly is resting, this shin y part of its wings is hidden. Now morpho butterflies are often attacked by birds.这是第二个例子的前半部分,它叫morpho butterfly。它的前半部分是非常闪耀的,当蝴蝶休息的时候,它闪耀的部分通常是藏起来的。但是这个morpho butterfly经常会被鸟儿攻击。

  So when a bird approaches, the morpho flies away. And when the morpho flaps its wings, all the bird can see are flashes of light reflected from the morpho’s wings. Those flashes of light make it very difficult for the bird to follow the morpho. And the morpho is usually able to get away.

  当有一只鸟靠近自己的时候,它就会飞走。当它拍动自己的翅膀的时候,这个鸟能看到的所有的东西都是太阳光反射的光线,会阻挡这个鸟儿的视线。这使得其它的鸟儿很难去追随它。

  针对第二个例子我们可以总结为The second example given by the professor is the Morpho butterfly. It can flap its shiny part of wings to reflect sunlight when the bird follows it. The bright sunlight will interfere(干涉,干预) the bird’s sight and it can not pursue the butterfly anymore, so that the Morpho butterfly will fly away.
